LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Danvas, the first-ever luxury display for digital art collectors, successfully unveiled its first G-Series display at the 2022 Armory Show in New York. Within two weeks of its launch, Danvas is already being used as the preferred digital art frame supplier to two of the nation’s most respected auction houses and galleries, Christie’s New York auction house and the Honor Fraser Gallery in Los Angeles.

Danvas is featured as the digital display of choice at the inaugural 3.0 event of Christie’s NYC, the global auction house’s initiative to bring young, up-and-coming artists to an international, digitally savvy marketplace. In their first exhibition, they are offering a highly curated auction of 9 new NFTs by renowned UTA-supported visual artist, Diana Sinclair. Sinclair will present his first solo exhibition, Steps. Steps is about embracing the impermanence of self and human experience,” Sinclair said. She went on to share that the launch of her first solo exhibition with Christie’s is in itself “a representation of a paradigm shift, not only for art but also for representation in the art world. The opportunity to collaborate with the teams at Danvas, Chainlink and Christie’s was in itself a huge and positive transition in bringing my vision to life in such a powerful way.

In the world of contemporary art, Danvas partners with the prestigious Honor Fraser Gallery in Los Angeles, which has played a leading role in the advancement of digital artists and their works. Danvas displays will be shown in the next exhibition, sensitive future, by distinguished filmmaker and body architect, Lucy McRae, who explores how future design technologies will fundamentally alter entrenched notions of human intimacy, reproduction, spirituality and well-being. Fraser remarked, “We really enjoyed collaborating with Danvas in our recent exhibition. Their displays and frames are beautiful and really help to elevate the digital artwork itself. It’s wonderful to have an elegant solution for collectors to hang beautiful digital artwork at home.

Danvas Co-Founder and CEO Jeanne Anderson said, “We are thrilled that Danvas’ digital screens are being so quickly adopted by mainstream art audiences. Change is afoot in the premium art world. When you know that the MoMa is supposed to auction masterpieces to finance its NFT purchases, and that Christie’s, one of the world’s major auction houses, is launching a web 3.0 platform, you cannot denying the fact that digital art is here to stay. We are delighted that Danvas displays play a key role in helping collectors see how truly breathtaking digital art can be.

Key players in the world of art and Web3 technology also recognize that change is inevitable. Kevin Rose, a serial web2 and web3 entrepreneur and key influencer in the space recently spent a dominant part of his latest podcast, episode of PROOF, praising Danvas, casting his enthusiastic vote of confidence, saying “This is the first image I saw that really blew my mind” and that its first customers “will probably be people like MoMA or LACMA or high end galleries”.

Co-founded by Jeanne Anderson, formerly of Saatchi Art, and Hernan Lopez, formerly of Wondery, Danvas’ revolutionary new G-Series display is already accelerating global appreciation for digital artists and their work. For viewings, visit Diana Sinclair Steps at Christie’s NYC from September 27 to October 5, or at Honor Fraser Gallery for Lucy McRae’s Sensitive future in Los Angeles, from October 1 to December 17.
