Program participants will receive an overview of the inkjet printing procedure on textile materials and related topics such as textile chemistry and pretreatment, ink formulation, curing techniques, management colors and characterization of textile materials and print quality. In addition, the digital printing workflow will be presented in a textile micro-factory environment.
The practical training will be offered in small teams by ESMA and will highlight some of the topics covered in the theoretical part. Participants will learn and practice the workflow, and every unique step required in digital textile printing. Each of the practical sessions will end with a question or a task that will be approached by the teams in order to stimulate the assimilation of the material.
âThis is the first of many new activities that we are planning under the new textile division within ESMA. Longer term, our goal is to create a united community focused on improving and guiding change in the textile printing industry. The focus is on areas such as sustainability, standardization, color management and regulations, âESMA said in a press release.
