A merger between a Manchester-based digital design studio and a London counterpart has been finalized.
The deal between MagneticNorth and innovation consultancy Fluxx was first revealed in spring 2021.
The companies have combined their 30+ years of experience to become an independent design and innovation powerhouse, fueling business growth post-pandemic.
The combined companies become Magnetic.
Founded in 2000 by Lou Cordwell, Chairman of Greater Manchester LEP, MagneticNorth covers a range of sectors including education, media, place-making, culture and digital health.
It has partnered with Fluxx, the duo seeking to bring together capabilities with the goal of being able to quickly develop, build and incubate new, much-needed products and services to market.
Both companies have seen an increase in demand for their services of late as companies focus on the opportunities presented by Covid-19.
Jenny Burns, Managing Director of Magnetic, said: “We have reimagined how, where and when work is done creating a thriving work environment where we support our employees and recognize the importance of holistic well-being.
“It means we can best serve the organizations we work with and consistently deliver incredible results. I’m very proud of our team.”
Lou Cordwell OBE, Creative Director of Magnetic, added: “In Manchester, digital adoption is accelerating our economic growth. The North is in the spotlight and we are passionate about continuing to support innovation-driven business growth in the UK and beyond. “
