Role of Senior Digital Art Director

The Senior Digital Art Director drive the achievement of customer strategy and data goals through your UX solutions. The Senior Digital Art Director will work within our Creative and CX team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Digital Art Director

  • Demonstrate how a user will move through communications (within and across campaigns), whether single or multiple emails, web, push, app at an expert level, using wireframes or designs low fi; evidenced by minimum required contribution from senior peers
  • Create concepts (whether in collaboration with others or in isolation) that consistently meet and often exceed project performance goals
  • Demonstrate the ability to translate concepts throughout a communication journey at an expert level; evidenced by minimum required contribution from senior peers
  • Ability to communicate ideas quickly and effectively using sketches or low-fi designs before and during ideation sessions, along with verbal description.
  • Demonstrate an expert understanding of our clients’ brand behavior when implementing or evolving style guides, and critique the use of brand assets by creatives on your project team.
  • Demonstrate expert design skills in layout, typography, and image creation/manipulation (vector illustrations or photo manipulation), critiquing layouts by creatives in your discipline team; as evidenced by positive CS and client feedback, and requiring minimal input from senior peers.
  • Create innovative, engaging, and actionable responsive design solutions for all devices that demonstrate an understanding of content hierarchy, adapting to different formats where necessary.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for interactivity to improve the effectiveness of designs; create innovative, engaging and measurable interactive solutions
  • Identify and propose facilitation opportunities to improve design effectiveness; bring content to life with animations, creating clear storyboards and generating high-quality animated content
  • Ensure accuracy by verifying work at every stage and preparing it for resource release
  • Create expert presentation materials, with a clear goal-driven narrative, engaging layouts, and helpful annotations for work sent to clients, and accompanied by clear in-person verbal narration.
  • Maintain excellent collaborative working relationships with agency colleagues at all levels; provide creative expertise, guidance and support to team members in other disciplines to help them achieve project goals and deliverables.
  • Lead the creative output of the project team by supporting the professional development of junior project team members, providing effective mentorship and guidance: as evidenced by the positive evolution of their QPRs over time
  • Adobe CC Expert – Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD and After Effects

  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Adobe CC Expert – Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD and After Effects
  • Agency experience is required, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with global clients
  • CRM channels – email, web, push, app (behavioral and technical)
  • CRM principles – affinity, loyalty etc.
  • Design and Communications Industry Trends
  • Follow company processes and procedures as outlined in our Company Handbook (IT Policy Chain of Command, Illness Notification, etc.)
  • Complete personal administration (timesheets, expenses, etc.) accurately and on time
  • Proficient Microsoft – Word, PPT and Excel plus Google equivalent
  • Project Management Software – Harvest, Trello, Forecast
