The FWA (Preferred Website Price) was founded in 2000 and has since grown into the largest online rewards program, showcasing cutting-edge creativity and innovation in digital design and development and serving millions of creatives with inspiration and professional recognition.
Around the World, which has seen exceptional performances from more than 60 of the world’s most prominent electronic dance music artists on eight different stages, received this month’s award for its spectacular digital music festival experience two days. The online festival has attracted 1 million viewers across the world.
The Tomorrowland World Tour took place in July and set the standard for upcoming virtual festivals. The event featured massive acts including Katy Perry, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Eric Prydz, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens and much more.
A 3D Island powered by WebGL allowed attendees to join the experience on their desktops, tablets and mobile devices, focusing on stability, optimization and incorporating both many details and cutting edge technologies. . It was essentially Tomorrowland as we know it, translated into a virtual space.
